Areté's Laser Systems Group is dedicated to delivering the most innovative solutions with sound engineering discipline. Areté's Primus series lasers utilize the latest diode-pumped solid-state laser technology to deliver unprecedented performance and reliability. The Primus lasers are compact and robust, custom built to withstand harsh environments encountered in military and aerospace applications. Each system is delivered with the latest software control and diagnostics package that makes interfacing with Primus simple and intuitive.

The Primus features a unique all-conduction cooling technique, high wall-plug efficiency, and compact light-weight construction. Operating at 532nm, it delivers pulse energy of 12.5mJ at a PRF of 400 Hz for an average power of 5 W (3 W spec). The heat-sink temperature range is -3 to 35°C, and the total power draw is less than 400 W.
