Founded in 1976, Areté Associates was originally an early stage (6.2 and 6.3 S&T contracts) research company working on Navy contracts. Over the years, as our technology base grew and also became more mature, our customer base also broadened to include the Army, Marine Corps and Air Force. We started to transition our technologies to more advanced R&D funding – 6.4 through Limited Rate Production. Today Areté is able to offer operational capability development in a seamlessly integrated process that spans the technology spectrum from applied research to Limited Rate Production and Systems Engineering.
