Areté Purchasing Standards of Conduct Policy
ARETÉ PURCHASING STANDARDS OF CONDUCT POLICY
All transactions relating to the expenditure of government funds require the highest degree of trust and standards of conduct. It is vital that Areté maintain the highest levels of integrity in all of our dealings with our supply chain. We are committed to dealing fairly and impartially with all vendors, and we expect the same high ethical standards from our vendors. All Areté employees must avoid any actual or apparent conflict of interest in all Areté-supplier relationships. Areté purchasing system ensures compliance with the Anti-Kickback Act, Procurement Integrity Act, Gratuities, and Restrictions on Lobbying; compliance with these laws is flowed in our terms and conditions to our subcontractors and vendors as required by government regulations.
Areté trains its employees to avoid and any conflicts of interest, or the appearance of any conflicts of interest, in all dealings with our supply chain. Our purchase decisions are made based on the considerations of technical capabilities, price, delivery records, service, and financial responsibility. If our vendors observe any situation, or have any questions regarding the conduct of an Areté representative, they may contact the Areté Ethics Program Director at 818-885-2200. This information is also found in our standard terms and conditions of purchase. All vendors may also contact the Government Hotline using the contact information shown in the poster below.
